Outpost (Ages 5-15)

At Outpost, kids unplug, explore, and simply be themselves. Each day is packed with hands-on adventures—from archery and outdoor challenges to creative projects and group games. With a 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio in age-appropriate groups, campers try new things, gain confidence, and form friendships that last. By the end of the day, they head home buzzing with excitement and stories they can’t wait to share. Outpost offers experiences for both our youngest adventurers and older kids ready for a little more independence.

Outpost Plus (Ages 5-15)

Outpost Plus gives kids with diverse abilities the full summer camp adventure with extra support. Each day is packed with hands-on fun—archery, outdoor challenges, creative projects, and group games. With attentive staff (we cannot guarantee a lower than 1:3 ratio), campers gain confidence, try new things, and form lasting friendships. Outpost Plus will be fully integrated into Outpost.

In order to participate, campers must be able to follow simple directions, participate safely in a group, and manage bathroom and self-care independently, with staff providing only verbal prompts if needed. They must not have behaviors that could put themselves or others at risk. Families are encouraged to reach out to discuss individualized accommodations or options to support participation.

Outpost Teens Plus (Ages 16-21)

Outpost Teens gives teens the chance to build confidence, independence, and friendships through a mix of camp activities and life-skills practice. Each day includes hands-on outdoor fun, group projects, and opportunities to grow socially and emotionally. With attentive staff (we cannot guarantee a lower than 1:5 ratio), teens are supported while still being encouraged to participate as independently as possible.

Participants must be currently enrolled in high school, able to follow simple directions, participate safely in a group, and handle bathroom and self-care needs independently (staff may provide verbal prompts only). Teens must not have behaviors that could place themselves or others at risk. Families are welcome to reach out to discuss accommodations or support options.

Sports Sampler Camp (Ages 5-9)

Sports Sampler Camp gives campers the chance to try a variety of indoor and outdoor sports while building skills, confidence, and teamwork. Campers play games and learn fundamental skills across multiple sports, including soccer, hockey, volleyball, lacrosse, football, and basketball. With an emphasis on fun, movement, and sportsmanship, campers stay active while discovering new interests. A Plus option is available for campers who may benefit from additional support.

Specialty Camps

Specialty Camps let campers dive into focused interests like sports, cheer, survival, and STEM. Through hands-on activities, games, and challenges, campers build skills, confidence, and a love of learning in a supportive, small-group setting. For Half Day camps there is a PM add on option to have your camper stay until 3pm.

Dodgeball Camp (Ages 8-12)

Dodgeball Camp keeps campers active while building skills through drills, games, and a variety of dodgeball variations. Campers focus on strategy, teamwork, and good sportsmanship while developing accuracy, agility, and speed in a fun, high-energy environment. A Plus option is available for campers who may benefit from additional support.

With a focus on fun, friendship, and positive encouragement, the week wraps up with an exciting final performance. A Plus option is available for campers who may benefit from additional support.

Fiber Arts Camp (Ages 10-17)

Fiber Arts Camp is a creative escape for those who love to make things by hand. We’ll explore weaving, finger knitting, crocheting, and other magical-making techniques. Campers will learn new skills, enjoy crafting with others, and turn simple materials into art you can wear, use, or treasure.  Expect relaxed camp vibes, creative freedom, and plenty of time to follow your ideas wherever they wander. No experience needed — just bring your curiosity and let the yarn lead the way. A Plus option is available for campers who may benefit from additional support.

STEM Camp (Ages 5-10)

STEM Camp takes learning beyond the classroom and into the outdoors. Campers explore science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on experiments, nature-based challenges, and collaborative projects that build curiosity, creativity, and real-world problem-solving skills. A Plus option is available for campers who may benefit from additional support.

Survival Camp (Ages 11-15)

Survival Camp gives campers hands-on experience with outdoor survival skills, including shelter building, basic first aid, compass reading, and knot tying. Campers build confidence and teamwork through active, outdoor challenges. A Plus option is available for campers who may benefit from additional support.

Cheer Camp (Ages 10-17)

Cheer Camp helps campers strengthen their cheer fundamentals while preparing for both school and All-Star cheer tryouts. Campers learn and refine jumps, stunts, tumbling, cheers, and dances in a supportive, motivating environment. The week concludes with a high-energy final performance showcasing teamwork, growth, and school spirit. A Plus option is available for campers who may benefit from additional support.

August 10-14

Pre-Algebra Boot Camp (Ages 12-17)

This is a fast-paced, confidence-boosting crash course designed to get your math muscles in shape. We’ll review key skills needed to be ready for Math 1 in the fall through clear instruction, guided practice, games, and just enough drill to make it stick. Expect determination, encouragement, and a few “you’ve got this!” moments along the way. No fear, no fluff — just solid skills and stronger math confidence. A Plus option is available for campers who may benefit from additional support.

Before Care

8am-9am

Before Care will take place from 8am-9am. Please note: this time frame will be supervised free play. There will not be scheduled/organized activities during this time frame and the ratio will be 1 counselor to 10 campers. We are unable to offer a lower ratio during these time frames.

  • Toys, electronics (cell phones, iPods, video games, etc.), money, anything valuable, and items that pose a danger to campers and staff.

    • Loose-fitting and comfortable clothing.

    • Shoes with closed toes and closed heels (rubber-soled shoes/sneakers are perfect). Wheelies, sandals, Crocs, and open-toed shoes with high heels should not be worn.

    • Sunscreen should be applied prior to camp arrival; spray sunscreen and bug spray will be reapplied upon provision of spray and written permission from parent/guardian.

    • Clothing must refrain from depicting illegal activity, violence, profanity, or nudity.

  • Campers will only be released to a legal guardian or responsible adult listed on their account for authorized pick-up.

    • Yes, late pick-ups will result in a $1 per minute late fee charged to your account.

    • The deposit is $25 per session/per child. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

    • The remaining balance is due no later than the 15th of the month prior to the program starting (e.g., June 15th for a July week).

    • A $35 fee will be charged for late or declined payments. If payment is not received 10 days prior to the scheduled week, the week will be cancelled.

    • TLH Outpost cancellations require 15 days notice before the program start date. Email outpost@tlhenrichmentfoundation.org to cancel. All deposits are non-refundable.

    • Refunds are not issued for days missed due to program suspensions, dismissals (for behavior violations), individual illness, vacations, or lack of transportation.

    • Parents must complete their camper's profile with information about allergies and medications prior to the first day.

    • A medication authorization form is required for any medication needed during the camp day.

    • All medication must be in its original container with a prescription label (or original packaging for over-the-counter meds). Medications are stored in a locked box unless emergency medication must be carried by the camper.

    • Open communication is important. Please keep staff informed of anything happening at home that may affect your child. You can call, email, or schedule a meeting. The camp contact email is outpost@tlhenrichmentfoundation.org.

    • Phones and personal devices should remain in the camper's backpack during the program.

    • Phone use is only permitted in emergency situations or with staff approval.

    • TLH Outpost is not responsible for lost, stolen, or broken devices.
